Okay, so I suppose this is better than a dose of writer's block...but right now my mind is running about Mach 5. I'm currently fleshing out yet another story, which bring my 'in progress' list up to 8(?). I suppose I really can't control my mind...I get a story idea, and I almost HAVE to flesh it out.
So anyway, this story is going to be called 'Ordinary' although the pretense and plot are far from that. This one is gonna be a bit different from my usual stories in that it isn't necessarily action oriented...almost a 'slice of life' type. Anyway, soon as I get something slapped together and proofed, I'll toss it up for ya'll to see.
Oh, one thing I could use ideas for, if anyone doesn't mind helping...the thing that I have the hardest time coming up with are names. In some stories, I like the name to be resemblant of the character...but more often then not, a name is simply that, a name...and for some reason I can pound out entire blocks of dialog without hesitation, but stop and stare at the screen for a half hour trying to come up with a name I like before going to a name website and staring at THAT for a half hour only to realize that 90% of the names on there really don't fit the character background that I've already mentally established. So...if I could ask for one thing from the maybe 3 people that'll actually read this, if I'm lucky. That'd be to give me name ideas so I can build up a stash of names to pull from when I need a new character...because this new story may well have an extensive cast of minor characters along with the mains (most of whom are already named)
